UFC President Dana White has denied rumors of tension with undefeated welterweight prospect Khamzat Chimaev, calling the reports "bullsh*t" spread by the MMA media.

The rumors began after Chimaev was pulled from a UFC 273 fight against Gilbert Burns due to illness. Chimaev has since returned to training and is expected to fight again soon.

However, some reports have suggested that White was unhappy with Chimaev's decision to pull out of the fight, and that the two men had a falling out.

White has now denied these reports, saying that he has "no problem" with Chimaev and that the two men are "still friends."

"I don't know where this sh*t came from," White said. "I don't know why people are trying to create this narrative that there's tension between me and Khamzat. There's no tension between me and Khamzat. We're still friends. We're still cool."

White also took aim at the MMA media for spreading the rumors.

"I don't know why people are trying to create this narrative," White said. "I don't know why people are trying to start sh*t. But it's not true. There's no tension between me and Khamzat."

Chimaev has not commented on the rumors. He is expected to fight again later this year.
